and when i put in the correct whp and weight, it says i should be running the 1/4 mile: 16.15 @ 84mph, when i ACTUALLY run a FULL second faster, with 7 more mph

haha, humorous

did you put the correct weight in. I put my correct weight in and it was almost on the money. *did you forget to add your weight onto the vehicles weight?
let me see the numbers you put in. If it doesn't work hell i dont know what to tell you, i found it and thought it would be fun to play around with.

i used 2900lb's as a rough estimate. the more weight i add to that for myself, gas, and other sh*t, the higher the HP numbers cuz it hasta be more powerful to move a heavier car the same time.

i also used 91.16mph as my trap-speed for my 15.194 pass. which nets a whp figure of...... 171.460219
haha

then when i use that WRONG horsepower figure with the same weight, my 1/4 mile time is 14.9. not bad, 2/10's of a second off.

and when i use the CORRECT whp figure of around 135-140, it comes out to ~16 seconds. a full second off

Mine said I got 147.5 being 3000 pounds and my 1/4 speed is 85.74 and said id run 15.9 although I ran 16.18 but traction was my problem when I did that so 15.9 is about right for when I was stock. We'll find out again this weekend.

It's basic calculations.

You divide your car's weight by its BHP and you should get your estimated E.T
