Cams won't do **** without a tune.
Your stock intake manifold is fine.
Why the **** do you need a different fuel rail?
A bigger TB won't do yo much good without a ported intake manifold and... what's it called... oh yeah, a TUNE.

ya i was going to have it tuned, but i kinda figured that combo would bump me up in power considering i would be gettin more air and more fuel and more mid range power from the cams

Why are you looking for performance upgrades if you have an automatic? just get some nice rims, tires, and window tint like I did.

fvck that sh!t bro. Save your money for another year. Swap your tranny and you'll have enough power to beat your friend if that's what your really worried about. Seriously though, save your money for a swap cuz 1500 is wasted if your just going to sell/ trade the car for a 5spd in the future...IMHO...

You can do a 5spd swap for $1500, and probably have some extra cash for a clutch/flywheel.

there is no way i could get it done for 1500, i would have to buy parts and have our race shop do it, cause honestly i would screw it up, so it would easily b 2500-3000

Re: Best upgrades on a budget

ya, like everyone else said, just do some DIY's and same for a 5speed. because if youre reallly heartset on beating your friends teggy, a 5 speed will definately do it. plus, once you do get good engines mods, you blow up your auto tranny a day later

Then buy a Helms Manual. Problem solved. If you want your car to be fast[er] you should really be prepared to get your own hands dirty. It's much more rewarding that way.

I know what u can do if u wanna be faster. Weight reduction. Its free bro. Then u can use ur money for cf hood. Intake, exhaust, header. Hi-flow cat. But thats just if ur lookin for something besides the 5spd swap. But 5spd swap ftw!
