Re: are these any good???

Free bump. I would also like to know how these are. Ive seen these for sale everywhere. Next summer, when I have some more cash I might buy them. The ones I was looking at were a 1.5" all around, but some come with different springs.

Re: are these any good???

Looks like the same kit that should be on my car in november-ish. 1.25" drop if they are the same.

Re: are these any good???

They're decent. I hear mixed reviews. Rarely anything horrible, but most of the bad things are people wishing they could be lower, adjustable, etc.

I'm running HR race springs and KYB AGX struts. They're adjustable. I got the struts for like $355 new and the springs used for $110 from prelude1897. The only thing I'd take above this setup would be some good coilovers.

Re: are these any good???

Tockico is good stuff.... I've had em on previous cars and they're amazing... I'm probly gonna go with the Illuminas(the white shock) though and maybe some Tein S tech springs. But I really haven't decided on that or some KYB coilovers....Money money money..

Re: are these any good???

I've heard nothing but bad things about these. I honestly don't know if they are any good. I hear they are just basically an OEM replacement also and might not even be as good as the actual Honda struts. Personally I would save my money and just get either the KYB AGX struts or Koni Yellow struts and Ground Control coilovers.

You will spend a little more money but in the end you will be much happier and it will be worth the wait.

Re: are these any good???

this is the same kit i have on my car and B (prelude13) has on his, personally i love it, it is a great application for a daily driver, they handle great but arn't too stiff to make it feel like you have no suspension at all, for the 3rd gens it is a 1.25" drop front and rear, it should be the same for the 5th gens...

? why down the road... the coilovers aren't that much more and then you will have to go back and do the work all over again.

Just save a little more and bid a little more time and get the ground controls

Just my opinion though.

Re: are these any good???

You will run into a slight camber issue but nothing horrible but you might want to eventually look into a camber kit. Otherwise you will be fine.
