Bad Ball Joints

As most of you know the '97 and '98 Preludes suffer from faulty ball joints and I have replaced three so far and I have 87k miles on my car. (on a side note, how many ball joints does this thing have?)

I have a fourth that needs replacing but I don't really have the money for i right now. What are the downsides of waiting other then the horrible noise?

Edit: The title should read Bad Ball Joints BTW

could throw the car out of alignment a little, and eventually they will break and you'll lose control of the car

Well the latter part doesn't sound good at all.

I think another one in i done in the front drivers side, it makes a horrible knocking sound and I can feel it through the pedal.
