New exhaust system

So i just got a new exhaust system. its a three peice cat back system. do the new exhaust come with catilytic converters? or do i need to leave my stock one on?one tube gose from 2.5 inch piping and expands outwards to what seems like 4 inch piping and back to 2.5 im assuming that would be the converter?

Re: New exhaust system

There's a reason they call it a "cat-back" in which it doesn't come with a cat unless otherwise specified.
You're looking at the resonator.
Leave the stock cat on.

Re: New exhaust system

No,a high flow cat isn't needed unless you personally wanna do it, if there's an emissions issue with the high flow(depending on where you're at) you def should leave it stock then

Re: New exhaust system

High flow cat doesn't necessarily mean you'll fail an inspection. You don't need a high flow cat, but you're better off getting one of those than a test pipe due to you throwing a code. IMO, unless you know what you're doing and going for some extra power, stick with the stock cat.
