Re: turbo camshafts and non turbo camshafts

ok i can't answer your first question... but your second question, sure you can. but why would you??? its gonna run like ****. nothing says you have to install the part immediately upon buying the part. if you can get a good deal on parts why not buy them and just wait till you get all the other required parts till you install them. thats usually how its done when making big modifications as such.

what's the power goal you're looking at? you might not even want to upgrade your cams.

Re: turbo camshafts and non turbo camshafts

does it sound funny that i dont really have a power goal, as i said in another thread i am thinking about the sts turbo kit, im not after making the fastest car ever, i am looking to do the sts turbo because of it being different and i havent heard any bad things from people who have actually installed them, just people speculating that they wont work but the numbers prove they do and what a sound..... anyway im blabbing on.
eventually i would like to do the camshafts but wasnt planing to do it before turboing but if the turbo cams were good on a non turbo aswell then i could of been tempted to do it first.
i dont claim to be a mechanical wiz but i do enjoy learning to do something and then doing it my self rather than paying somebody else to do it for u, as for me that would be no fun and cars are hobbies for me and gives u a much greater sense of achievement!

sorry i went on a bit!
