Extended lug nuts?

Do you need to have extended wheel studs to run lug nuts such as these:

I really love neo-chrome, and would like to get the long or short ones, doesn't really matter, but do you need extended studs for the short and long ones? I also read that you might have to change the hub or something if you want the extended studs. BTW the Tenzos are still on the car, if these wheels complicate anything let me know. But to my understanding these kind of lugs have to be used with an aftermarket wheel. Thanks in advance, hopefully I'll be getting some of these and taking some pics!

Re: Extended lug nuts?

You can still use them...
I personally wouldn't but I've seen it done.

Are you saying you wouldn't use them without extended studs or you just wouldn't use them because they're neo chrome?
