Not sure, I would guess not (damage) BUT... another option you can look into are the JDM Black Housings and then do a TSX Projector retrofit! Will cost you a bit more and some time, but the quality of the lights and the quality of the beam it produces will beat those lights 1000 to 1.

you can install hids in those. you just have to find out what base you need. but i do like his idea better.

Re: Hid kit and projection lights?

If your interested I could maybe snag a set of warranty TSX projectors from work (I work at an Acura dealer). They normally go for around $200 but I generally sell the sets I can get my hands on for about $150 shipped. They will have a better "cut-off line" and give the HIDs a better color than any cheap or knock off projector globes. Just google TSX retrofit and you'll see. It's quite a common retrofit even for us Prelude guys!

Re: Hid kit and projection lights?

from other peoples experience those ebay projectors dont really work that well. the retro fit like stated a bit pricey but better product and quality.

Re: Hid kit and projection lights?

definitely go with the retrofit... I put those cheapy halo projectors on my girls 99 eclipse and they're terrible!! crappy beam, crappy construction and the halos burnt out almost instantly.
