Is this quality?

Hi Guys

Basically I just created my first Ebay account and I'm looking at making several purchases. Now I've heard many horror stories from Ebay and always see boards bashing how the parts on the site are crap.

Now from what I can see this guy has a good rep but are these parts the OEM parts I'll need? What should I look for?

I want the front bumpers upper and lower lights(fogs) on a 97 prelude(not headlights).

Thanks a lot!

Re: Is this quality?

Top people, I bought from them and their shipping is really fast. However, notice that's just one turn signal.

2nd one, those aren't OEM but they're okay. Turn signals, light bulbs, intake piping, etc. stuff that can be easily replaced are fine to buy from eBay but I wouldn't buy a no-name piston set off there or some NEW springs for $9.99. Also be careful about knockoffs like a Mugen oil cap. A real one is about $50 I think. A fake one is like $10 on eBay. That's one example.

Re: Is this quality?

Where do people get the lower one's then? I mean by okay, will those do for someone that doesn't really need fogs but just wants the "complete" look of having them, if that makes sense. I mean the OEM's are going for 200 bucks so obviously there's a difference but these won't just turn off in the middle of the night will they?

Re: Is this quality?

Like Si Speed just stated, you're fine buying after market lenses like the clear ones you have listed.

Re: Is this quality?

only bad thing I've heard about non OEM fogs are that they can melt the housing if you don't use the bulb provided, and even then still might melt the housing. and just a heads up that second link you have up is turn signals too...incase you weren't awares...

Replica fogs and aftermarket turn signals are just fine man, but like Lazer said, don't put aftermarket bulbs in those fogs, you'll end up melting your housing away. I've never heard of anyone using the fog bulb provided with them and ending up with a burnt/melted housing. Take that as you will.
