ok, so i have a rough idle. when in park it surges up to almost 3000 rpm, and back down, and up, and down. kind of rythmically. it doesnt do it in drive or reverse often. I have checked for vaccum leaks, replaced iacv, cleaned egr and ports, removed caty, replaced header brackets (i know that has nothing to do with it, but i did replace them) as well as bled the coolant system. idk what else to try.
someone tell me whats up.

oh yeh this is a 99 auto.

Re: help me!

what you could do is remove your intake manifold and clean the crap out of it...inside and out. and it would be ideal if you replace all your hoses. also, are you running any check engine lights?

oh i replaced the 02 sensors and have cleaned intake manifold. not helpin. how much would it cost me to replace all the hoses on the IM?

and im running a 1508 and a 505. the 1508 is strickly about the iacv, but i have put a used one, and a brand new one on. im thinkin about a tp sensor, but idk how to replace that without replacing the throttle body.

all a o2 sensor will do is give you worse gas milage but i would check you Idle air control valve aka IAC or better yet just replace it. that causes a rought idle.
