Re: brake light rattleing...help

this isn't DIY?

add mass to the brake light housing... a couple small scrap pieces of Dynamat laid on the inside will reflect heat AND lower the resonant frequency of the plastic housing.
You could also apply A small bead of silicone around the edge, where it meets the windsheild, and allowed to cure/dry, would also create a barrier between the hard plastic and the glass.

Re: brake light rattleing...help

still say you need to tighten it down, inside and out, and add some mass to dampen the resonant vibrations... go to your local car audio shop.. I am sure they have some small throw away scraps laying around.
