Oil Catch Can

What is the purpose? What are the benifits that I can expect? What are some good ones? Does Mugen make one for the 5th gen ludes? I would really prefer not to but if Spoon makes one I might be interested in that. Thanks alot.

Re: Oil Catch Can

the purpose of a oil catch can ... is to help relieve crank case pressure. in doing so that can actually collects the oil that is pushed up and out of the motor. on a stock motor the h22 has that tube that is connect at the top left of the valve cover and then to the intake. that is where the pressure is usually relieved but it too collects oil ... not as much you would think but over time it must be cleaned. the can goes in between that to catch the oil instead of it looping back into the intake. you dont gain power. they are universal.
