H22a head swap on F22a1

I'm curious what else I'll need for this? I got a deal on a complete H22a JDM head with intake manifold, throttle body, and the valve cover. Is there anything else I'm missing for this Hybrid?

h22 timing stuff..... h22 or h23 distributor, and h22 header. Depending what year your car is, wiring for VTEC. And u'll probably need to get the car tuned once the motor is assembled, installed, and running.
check out threads about the "G-series", and h22 head with f22 block.
Honda-tech is a good resource to get an idea of what ur looking at...

It is doable tho.

Re: H22a head swap on F22a1

PM me and I'll get back to you tonight when I get back to my house. I have a thread with all information on it, and all parts that you'll need for the swap. Also, I have a write-up page and I'll send you everything. I'm just gonna forget so shoot me a pm so a window pops open next time I open PZ.

Re: H22a head swap on F22a1

and I was reading last night on some forums, and some people said about how it's not worth the money and time. They said how you might as well do a whole H22a swap if your doing just the head.

Since I already PM'd edli07 about it with these links, figured I'd post in here. All I'm going to say is that I don't believe its worth the time or effort to build a g22 or g23. Its for people with low money and high talent. Leave it to professionals.

Re: H22a head swap on F22a1

yea, I definitely do have low income atm since I'm a student. But have a professional who'd probably help me install this. I can get the head, intake manifold and throttle body for 150, with everything else, would the total of cost equal to doing a whole swap?
