Icon14 Upgrades for my SH

I have been posting asking about upgraded parts, and so far its only that i can't upgrade the intake manifold or a turbo without making the ATTS not work.
I want the most performance out of my prelude SH, What could I do to my prelude SH without making the ATTS stop working?

I need all the advice you have to offer ^^ lol

Thanks,
Rob

Re: Upgrades for my SH

First id say start with the basics (ie: I/H/E)

Then after you get a feel for the car you'll know whether you wanna go FI or N/A. Without knowing that no one can really help you cuz what you need depends on which area you want to go into and how much HP your wanting out of it AND if its your DD cuz if it is then you have to choose upgrades that will be reliable.

A saying ive always liked was: FAST, CHEAP, RELIABLE....... YOU CAN ONLY CHOOSE TWO!

Re: Upgrades for my SH

Our cars (sh) models we are very limited to what we can do comparable to a base.

1) we cannot use hondata or aem ems anything in that category, only tuning we can do are with piggyback systems like vafc..etc, or else we will lose atts.

2) Going over 250hp or 250whp forgot what it was..eitherway, you will lose atts imediately.

3)Like the above poster said, start with I/H/E..you'll open it up more for her to breathe. If you got money, buy a RMF header. That will be the only header that will give you a major hp increase over the others. (1-2hp) i think it was.

4) Start doing your clutch/flywheel. faster acceleration is always a good thing.

theres more i can say but im just dead tired got to wake up in a couple hours..

Re: Upgrades for my SH

Like ImPorTuNeRdJ said not to much you can do and keep the atts. With the I/H/E don't cheap out if you do ya wasted money as far as power goes. DC and megan headers flow the same as the stock ones. Type-s intake flows the best and with a knn filter might pick up a few hp. Exhaust go name brand or go home with all that ya might pick up maybe 5-10 hp but ya really wont notice it that much just better sound. Out side of the the only mods i can think of of would be light weight fly wheel, stage 1 clutch, short throw shifter, suspension and brake work and that really only applies if you racing a good bit, and of cores something that is over looked a lot tires. Get you a good set for w/e you use the lude for the most.
