H22a Peep Hole

ok so i was wondering if someone could give me some advice

i was redoing my timing and the car starts and runs good ... the only problem is that when you first start it it sounds as if timing is off ... from what angle should you look through the peep hole to see if the freewheel is lined up .. i think it is only off a tooth... runs good though besides the idle and other nonsense ... could someone pleasse help me out
