Need help with whinning noise..with video

Ok back story : front balancer shaft seal popped, lost alot of oil. replaced the seal. Checked with a stethoscope and seem to be getting noise from the tensioner bearing. I also have the H23 manual belt tensioner conversion, so i replaced both the bearings as well. still hasn't fixed it. I feel like it something internal inside the block coming from underneath the timing covers on the diver side of the motor. also ran the motor without the PS and Alt belts. heres what it sounds like:

i installed an invisible JRSC when you weren't looking enjoy it, and your welcome!

so you DID take the alt/PS belt off, and it still sounded like that??
how bout the AC belt?

it kinda sounds like the timing belt is rubbing against the timing covers. i'd check the inside of them.

you could have over tensioned the t-belt... or it could be rubbing like nick said... how tight did you make the belt. did you make is so there is zero slack on the long side or what

check the tension of the t belt, like i said sounds like a bearing noise coming from the tensioner, is it a auto tensioner or manual?

on the long side(side facing towards the front of the motor) i can twist the belt a bit

also someone over at PO told me to give it another 1k miles and the noise will go away because its just the T belt breaking in?

Re: Need help with whinning noise..with video

when i did my belt i read that on the long side you should be able to twist it about 90 degrees and if it goes farther than that easily then it is too loose. but at about 90 it should have resistance.

Re: Need help with whinning noise..with video

same thing is happening with my girls car.
timing belt snapped (not inerfeareance) went and got a new belt and a new tensioner instaled everything and intentionally went a little to tight on the belt
car whined like a broken supercharger, i just left it tho as the belt was new still wines car runs fine, personally i dont care and wont adress the issiue until a problem comes because its not innefearence, your motor is.
sounds like you need to loosen the belt a lil, then again your tensioner could be bad.

My engine did the same thing when I changed my tb, but it stopped after a 100 miles or so. idk, try using a little belt dressing on the alt. belt??
Good luck man.
