If I can't find it on ebay....either I decide "i don't need it that bad" or i just google search it and check a few sites before I actually order anything. You should check amazon too.

What in particular were you gonna look for?

For new OEM parts, www.hondaautomotiveparts.com can't be beat. Unless you're cheap like me, then you look at E-Bay first.

x2.

I usually buy stuff off ebay as far as aftermarket parts. Ebay has the best deals, but sometimes you gotta kinda worry about who your purchasing the part from. It could be some shady ass dude.

Re: Online buying

ya there are alot of shady characters on ebay, and a whole SH!T ton of crappy knock-off parts.
I've only been screwed on ebay 1 time and that was for some brass knuckles lol

But there are some things that ebay just can't provide, or that you can't really trust from ebay.

One thing that some ppl fail to think about is there's no "ebay" brand name...its some other company that makes/copies the "design" of another company with cheaper materials to provide a cheaper price....sort of a supply and demand thing, only....most of the time quality suffers

I've bought ingall's camber kit on ebay. I have a no-name intake pipe (from ebay), and no-name header(from ebay). I've also bought video games, golf balls, fishing tackle, and clothes off ebay.

It really depends on what your looking for, and how much money you wanna spend.
The SH suspension is unique as well as the exhaust (i think).... but overall its still a prelude.
It is an SH after all, so its gotta have the "baller status" as some ppl would think...

I haven't been screwed on E-Bay, ever. You just gotta do your research on the seller.

Re: Online buying

I usually look at the feed back on the sellers, but it seems that most good places have mishaps with shipping sometimes. I'm usually not too concerned with it until its late

Re: Online buying

Has anyone ever purchased parts from Import Replacement Parts? I plan on getting an exedy stage 1 ($269) and an 8 pound fidanza flywheel ($189) from them.

I am searching this site for info on online stores and it led me here. Not sure if I should have started a new post or posted this on my thread. Barely learning the forum rules.

I am a bit leery of the ebay route.

Re: Online buying

There's nothing to be weary about on E-Bay if you just pay attention. Look at feedback ratings and number of transactions, and if it's from an E-Bay Store, it's totally legit and you won't get screwed unless there's a shipping error. As far as ImportReplacementParts.com, never done business with them, never heard of them, so I can't help you much there.

So I have spoken with the co-owner of Importrp.com and he is a really nice and helpful guy. I will be buying a new clutch, flywheel, etc., from that site and I will let you know how the purchase goes.

I bought parts from importrp.com. The guy who runs it is a great guy and he will even help you out on aim. Prices were great and shipping was fast. Hell he even drives a prelude.
