bar's rear main seal.

i still got that rear main seal leaking like a bitch.. and constantly putting oil in my car. till i get enough money to get my lude repaired..
anyways, im wondering would bar's rear main seal stop leak would work?
just as a quick fix. not as a permanent fix. and no guys I don't know how bad the leak is and how big it is. just a real bad leak and i'm wondering if it would just stop the leak for awhile so i can save my money on oil and start putting more gas into my car.
I'm always running on empty :(

Re: bar's rear main seal.

What year model Prelude? Are you sure it's the rear main (i.e. you can see oil coming out of the drain hole in the bell housing)? I've never seen a rear main leak as badly as you're making out to be leaking.

If it's a 4Gen or 5Gen Prelude, make sure it's not the oil cooler o-ring. That's a more common leak point than the rear main.
