Icon5 Altezza Tailights and LEDS...Help with Flasher?

I just installed a new set of Altezzas and replaced all the stock bulbs with Superbright LED's. Everything is cool, love the look, but now my turn signal indicators flash like strobe lights? Yes they're flashing as fast as the turn signal LED's. Anybody run into this and what do I have to slow them back down? Advice appreciated.

Thanks, V1

thats not that uncommon for those led replacement bulbs to do that, don't think there is anything you can do.

Superbrightleds sells a device called a load resistor that makes your turn signal flasher think there's a regular bulb in the turn signal socket.

Additionally, I found out that you can also replace the stock OEM flasher with one from a parts store that is compatable with LED's.

Where is the flasher located on my 5th gen 2000 Lude? I think I'm going to try the LED compatable flasher. Just need to find the stock one first

Thanks, V1

Re: Altezza Tailights and LEDS...Help with Flasher?

Alright. Have the LED compatable electronic turn signal / hazard flasherin hand. I just need someone to tell me where it's located. I looked at the fuse panel under the dash, but don't see anything that resembles a flasher. Any help appreciated.

Thanks, V1
