H22 swap questions

So after a longggg unproductive stay at a shop, I've finally taken my car out and I'm working on it at my school shop. If you haven't seen my album, I'm swapping a '98 H22A into my '86 prelude. Quite a big job lol. Right now a friend and I are finishing up the harness. We're using a 95 OBD1 ecuz and harness, taking out the components that are'nt needed. It seems to be going well but with judgement day approaching, I'd like to know if there's any snags we might run into when it's all hooked up and we try to start the car. If you know about wiring H22's I'd love to get some feedback. Thanks alot,

H22Driver

ok thanks. Does it have to hook on to the thermostat housing? or is that just the prefered area?

Re: H22 swap questions

ok, well we're mounting the ecu in a box on the firewall in the engine compartment so I'm sure It'll be easy enough to locate it there

i would definitly put a heat shield around it or try to put it elsewhere so that the heat dont get to it...

heat+computers= fail
