It wont F up your engine. Neither will a stock intake.
But why are you trying to buy a ram intake?...

Re: intake?

well what you can do is buy it, install it and see what happens, $10 isnt exactly a lot of money..

of all the threads that have been created on this forum advising people to stay away from cheap and nasty stuff on ebay and then you go and throw this shyt up on a thread, what are you expecting for $10.00??? .

so just to answer your question..if you do buy that intake you will have just flushed $10.00 down the toilet. you may aswell find some poor beggar on the street and give him the $10.00, at least he will be grateful for it and you will have saved yourself from having to buy another intake and spending even more money later on.

Re: intake?

ya i was gonna say....it doesn't look like it'll exactly fit right, but who knows....
I've noticed online ppl rag on the no-name brands and think their $100 intake makes 10 more horsepower than a $30 intake. It may be shiny and what not, but the gains are minimal... if any

I have a cheap ebay intake arm on my car, and its been there for 4+ years. I now have a K&N filter that costs more than the intake originally did. The only issue with my intake is that there's no bracket, but i have no problem with how it functions.

i agree with you 100%..but some of these intakes on ebay have been just been thrown together by someone who probably builds them in their back yard..

i remember back in the days when i had a 3rd gen, someone gave me an ebay intake, when i installed it the cars engine managment light came on. when i put the stock intake back on it went away, after that day i promised my self im never buying an intake off ebay and to this day i havent and never will

Re: intake?

There's a reason companies like Injen, Fujita, and AEM can charge more for the "same" product. It's called Research and Development. You buying knock-off parts on E-Bay is the reason that reputable companies like GReddy go bankrupt and/or out of business. Whether you like it or not, it's the truth.

Re: intake?

I have that intake. It fits fine. Ive driven through floods and made it out the other end. Aside from maybe filter material, I cant POSSIBLY justify spending the money on an Injen or AEM thats the same shape and size. Its a goddamn tube. All they did was copy the design anyway. Honestly though I didnt feel a difference. If its worth $23 to you to be able to say you have an intake and have a shiny chrome pipe sitting there when you open the hood then go for it. Ive got no complaints about it other then it doesnt have a bung for the IAC. I just got one of those little tiny breather filters and zip tied it to the end of the IAC tube so its not sucking unfiltered air.
