Possible Problem....

Hey I'm relatively new here and I'm thinking about buying a 5th gen. I've already been discussing this under a different topic (full greddy with test pipe) thread, so if you wanna get more details....

The car has on oil leak (from cam seals so easily fixable) and the master clutch cylinder needs replacing.

Originally the car wasn't running, apparently because there was air in the clutc system. He let out the air and is going to replace the master cylinder himself (For no extra charge). Is the fact that there was air in the system, or that hte needs to replace the master cylinder indicate a faulty car? Is this something I should be staying away from despite a good price?

btw here are the specs
97 black base model w. small spoiler
cold air intake
full greddy exhaust system with test pipe
carbon fibre hood
lowered on good quality shocks ( i think they were j and r..?)
skunk 2 shift knob + boot
brand new tires
body: 270 km
motor: 135 km

Price: $5000 ( i bargained him down)

This is the best price i've seen in vancouver for 6 months, and I don't think it gets much better than that around here...
