Re: Body Kit?

A good body it should have all the replacement holes for front and back bumpers but side skirts may need holes drilled

Depends on what you want. Different sites have different ones of different qualities.

If you get a high quality one and put a lot of thought into how you will think about it in the future you can be successful with a body kit. IMO Most body kits are just bought on an impulse and slapped on the car without much thought and usually end up looking cheap and tacky. I also agree that if you have to get a body kit a subtle one would be the way to go.

Re: Body Kit?

i do not recommend body kit.s though i have one on mine. only bc when u get one they more often then not dont fit right.

u have to get high end ones to be able to bolt on out of the box..

those cost a whole bunch more than the ones you are prob. looking at.

body kits are a creation of measurements out of fiberglass from human hands.
it's bound to have imperfections in fitment. so in order to get them to fit in a clean looking matter usually they are molded with fiberlass, and body filler to create a flowing effect where the body is one piece.. thats how i did mine.

with no training i think mine came out good.. but it took a year of perfection, of sanding, laying fiberglass etc!

just get a lip kit. i still see 4th gens with them and i say to myself even after all my work, i still envy a good lip kit on a prelude.. check iut bboixtc's 92 si 4ws on here he's got a sick lip kit that you can bolt on

Re: Body Kit?

That Pic isnt a Lip kit. O_o. cause yeah back bumper is the one i have in my room ATM, and the front bumper looks like a r33/r34 whateve.

But on topic, Body kits arent that hard and they look nice as long as you mount them right, Look at my ride page or the pics on my profile. just gotta take your time, and do it right the 1st time. dont get in a big hurry or itll look tacky.

Re: Body Kit?

ok i agree with getting a lip kit instead of getting a full body kit but just a front lip is more expensive than a full body kit. ex. a front lip that i saw was $300 shouldn't they be cheaper or where can i find one cheaper

as everyone has said, most body kits just look tacky, to me, it's all rice. but thats just my opinion. Lip kits look sharp to me.

thats because the lips for $300 are made of poly, which is high quality and doesnt break, and the body kits you are looking at that cost $300 are cheap shyt that wont fit right and will fall apart with the first rock that gets kicked up and hits it

also check ebay....i typed in poly lip and this is the first one that came up http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/92-93...Q5fAccessories
