Re: h2b conversion

I dont think it works like that, the h2b kit that is. It's H motor with B series transmission in a Civic/CRX/Integra, not Prelude.

I could be wrong because i haven't really been browsing Honda-tech lately lol...

Re: h2b conversion

No, you're right B, it doesn't work. They don't make a kit for a Prelude.

No, they don't, it doesn't work. No, it doesn't. (previous experience dicates that that I need to say it 3 or 4 times)

For other options, please search the other 4,957 threads on the issue, since I cbf going into the pros/cons of all the other trans swaps.

yes it actually does work. and you CAN buy a plate that seperates the h22 from the b series tranny that makes it fit correctly. im guna put it into a civic. and theres no need to get all butt hurt about me asking about it... i dont give a **** about what the other 4000 threads say. bottom line, if your clit is guna get all sore about this thread then dont even ****in bother writing on it.

Re: h2b conversion

Hey dude if you searched like you should have you would have known that. Not our fault. we shouldn't have to sit here and explain to every new person who comes on this forum that an h2b kit will not work.

You are on a prelude forum, talking about using an h22. Please specify if your going to put it into a civic.

End of the day its not fair to us here to explain it to you. Simple as that. And you were speaking to a mod. I think they deserve a little bit more respect than that. Especially brash, he's the softy of the mods

Re: h2b conversion

your lucky if your ass don't get banned, dont talk to a mod like that, even if you feel like he was "butt hurt" or w.e...what smok3y said..you didn't tell us you had a civic you were doing this for. and if this is for a civic, go on honda-tech, you'll find a lot more help there then here since this is specificly a prelude forum.

Where in here did you tell us it was going into a civic? Since you're on a Prelude forum the natural assumption is that it is going into a Prelude, which cannot be done. As you quite correctly stated, it can work in a civic. Come to think of it, that's exactly what the kit was designed to do.
