Icon5 Black Car - What colour Calipers? (not red)

Well I'm looking to paint the calipers of my car, but I don't want to go for the traditional red that everyone else has.

I was thinking Green or Blue, and then match the radio and dash light to whichever colour. But I haven't seen a black car with green or blue calipers go it may look stupid.

I don't want to go for black either as I haven't seen this on a black car.

Maybe silver??

What do you suggest??

If you have a black car what colour are your calipers? Or do you have pics of black cars that haven't got them painted red.

Here's my car (bit far back and you can't even see the calipers!!)

Re: Black Car - What colour Calipers? (not red)

yea well, didn't you read? he doesn't want red.

anyways onto my suggestions.
A. first of all, don't ever match just ONE thing on the outside to the inside. especially not the calipers. rarely in your day will you look at the inside and outside of the car at the same time and go, hey, this doesn't match.

B. ever heard of the KISS concept? Keep It Simple Stupid. don't go all extravagant with wacky colors that don't match anything on the outside like red, green or blue. especially if you don't like drawing to much attention to your car.

C. 2 colors MAXIMUM. only in rare circumstances should you EVER put more then 2 colors on a car. especially if you have basic 1 color paint job. you got black and silver. as it stands your car looks really clean. don't mess it up with a 3rd color. SILVER OR BLACK.

C. from one black lude to another... GO BLACK. i did black and i LOVE it. i was gonna go bronze but since i was gonna buy bronze wheels i thought it might look funny. black is so subtle, most people really don't notice it. i've actually had people convinced that preludes came stock with the calipers painted black

ha ha, before you go talking ****, did you read why? due to your own ignorance, you probably didn't see his ignorance. he said he didn't want black calipers because he's never see it on a black lude. that's just stupid. that's like say i don't want pussy because i've never see it before. anyways. its pretty simple, as it states, i own a BLACK LUDE (to which he's looking for opinions from) and i have black calipers. gives him a very good reason to push ignorance aside and go look at my members ride page or simply ask me for some pics as i have a **** ton of them. i'd post them but unfortunately the server i'm on won't allow you to copy and past URL's or even look at the great majority of picture hosting sites.

sorry, couldn't help myself. learn to read.
