WTF?

The last thread regarding my idle surge was closed. I used the ****ty search but i thought my idle surge was a little more unique since it was confined to a 400 rpm range. So suck my balls. I've had idle surge with previous motors and all of them were more drastic. I thought there would most likely only be one cause for such a small jump in the rpms. That's why i posted a new thread. Besides that, when you search for "idle surge" most of what comes up has nothing to do with it. For example, the names of threads on the first results page include...:::98vtec::: H23vtec 1998 - 210whp/175tq., Car died on the way home from work S.O.S. ,Motor oil, anyone read this before? ,How to replace your radiator. , check engine light, how to build a n/a h22, you know you're car is trick'd out, couple of questions, 360 owners, post whores check in, $150k soda, just bought my lude, 5th gen auto transmission guide, shaking and rumbling, chips, wtf does this hose go?, etc. etc. etc.. I can't be expected to search through 451 vaguely named threads just because the thread prob got off topic and someone mentioned idle surge. So again, suck me. I encourage anyone who doesn't believe me to type "idle surge" in the search box and see what comes up. It's easier to post and wait for a response, which i haven't gotten. Thank you.

Re: WTF?

Yea the search is shi_tty but if you go into advanced search and select 'search thread titles only' it works a lot better.

When was the last time you did a tune up?

Let me get this straight, you do want help with this right? This comment probably isn't going to help in that department.

It doesn't matter whether on here, another forum or google, you type in a vague search like "idle surge" and you'll get a bunch of vague responses. I think it was Chris who so accurately stated previously that people like you will probably be shiity if they type "girl" into google and come up with eleventy billion hits.

And yet you somehow expect us to?

Have you stopped to think for a moment that there might not be anybody who knows exactly what problem your vehicle has? I know that I don't. Hang on, this would explain exactly why you haven't got a response. Hazzah, I've done it again.

Seriously mate, back it down a notch. This is the crap we try and keep out of here.

Re: WTF?

I think "WTF" is an appropriate thread name. Now that you've mentioned all those "useless" threads, when ever anyone types any of these words:

Quote:
:::98vtec::: H23vtec 1998 - 210whp/175tq., Car died on the way home from work S.O.S. ,Motor oil, anyone read this before? ,How to replace your radiator. , check engine light, how to build a n/a h22, you know you're car is trick'd out, couple of questions, 360 owners, post whores check in, $150k soda, just bought my lude, 5th gen auto transmission guide, shaking and rumbling, chips, wtf does this hose go
into the search box, THIS thread will now pop up too. Good jarb my friend.

Re: WTF?

First of all, i was telling the Mod who shut my last thread down to suck my balls, not everyone else. Secondly, i just swapped this h22 into my car so it doesn't need a tune-up. Every thing is new. The only thing i could think of is maybe my ignition timing is a little off from when i was dicking with the distributor. Now, maybe someone who has an idea of what is wrong can help, instead of all the assholes posting bull **** just to get their post count up.

Re: WTF?

first off - no one is gonna help you if you keep acting like a ****in idiot, get that thru your thick ****in skull (dUh)

second - just because you swapped in a new engine and everything is "new" doesn't mean you don't need a tune, that has got NOTHING to do with it - in fact now that you swapped in a new engine it would be the PERFECT time for a tune, so it's the exact opposite of what you think

third - you clearly don't know anything, so quit being an asshole and learn somethin called humility - there are people on here who are Gods with Preludes, treating them like Gods and asking questions like you know nothing and need their wisdom will make them more willing to help you, calling them assholes and telling them to suck your ballz is not going to get you anywhere (dUh)

now go take your car to a shop where someone who knows something (unlike you) and has the proper tools can help you solve your problem, which is what you should have done in the first place after realizing you have a problem and aren't getting anywhere (dUh)

that is the last thing I will say to you, if you keep bitching and moaning about your problem, that is your own fault - take REAL action, if you don't think your getting anywhere with help from the internet maybe it's time to actually do something rather then bitch and moan.

again I say.....dUh

*asshole comments from you are gonna get smartass, asshole comments from us*

Yeah, it's the exact opposite of what i think. When i say everything is new, i mean it. I already did the tune up, which is really why i couldn't figure this out. I'm not treating anyone like a God, i'm not gonna suck the ( how should i put this) the e-dick. Every single person who posts a new thread on this site could be told " this has already been covered, use the search button" and then their thread could be closed. If people who know want to help then they should, i've done what i can to help people on here and i don't think i've ever told someone to search for it. If you know the answer to a question it takes just as much time to type that answer as it does to tell someone to search for it. Maybe i was a little stressed out after spending $3500 on a motor swap, then it not starting, then finding out it has a slight idle surge, i post on here and the mod tells me to search for the answer when ( if he's such a god ) he could have just posted it. I apologize for being a dick, but all of you are just as big a dick as i am. Especially yogi. So help me, flame me, shun me, or ban me, i'm just sick of all the elitist bull****. You know, there's a reason us honda guys get a bad wrap, it's because we treat each other like ****....my experience with people in the talon world has been much better. So back to the problem. It's either my ignition timing, or one of the sensors in my throttle body. Any suggestions?

I don't think that's true...But anyways, we're not "elitists," and we don't think we're "elitists." If that's what you're looking for, go to Honda-Tech.

P.S. - BIG difference between a tune-up, and a tune.

The only thing i could think of is maybe my ignition timing is a little off from when i was dicking with the distributor. Now, maybe someone who has an idea of what is wrong can help, instead of all the assholes posting bull **** just to get their post count up.

You might be right, but I have one that is that big.
Too late for apologies. What's done is done.

We're not singling you out because you bitched about the search not working for such a broad statement. It's not because you made another thread to retaliate against a mod when the PM feature works so much better without making you look like a douche. It's not because you later called everybody everybody else here a dick. It's not even because you're a moron. It's because you're Latino.
No, seriously. Go somewhere else expecting different responses and you're in for a bad awakening. I promise not everything on your car is brand new because you didn't spend $5000+ on a new motor from Honda.
Normally I wouldn't have said anything and just let my mods handle this but there's something you need to get straight. Insult one family member here and you will be flamed, not to mention when you make a broad statement saying everyone here is a dick. You don't know that, not only because you're an ignorant jackass, but because it's simply not true. You can call me an asshole or a dick all you want and I'll agree, but say that about everyone else here and there's problems. So take you broad generalizations to some people who care like THIS PLACE.

When you get back, if you want to try again, I'll consider this a thing of the past, move on, and expect everyone else who has posted in this thread to do the same.

Re: WTF?

note to self: when doing an engine swap, and running into a few small minor speed bumps, look on preludezone for awnsers, but reframe from usings words such as "suck my balls", be polite, kind hearted, caring, forgiving, maybe try a kiss on the cheek, a hug, a handjob, rub on the back, and you shall recieve help from others, and maybe a handjob in return!!!!
