check engine light

hi, a couple of weeks ago my 99' prelude started shaking and rattling, the guys said it was just my idle, but it started to shake for twice as long and now my check engine light is on. Any ideas of what is wrong?

Re: check engine light

there is also a thread on here that shows you how to do it yourself. It requires the service plug and a peice of wire, and you will have to diagnos the blinks of the CEL, check in the resource pages for the fifgens.

I just did this myself two days ago all you need is a paper clip and the panel is on the center consol near the underside of the radio on the passenger side...
