CD Panel Switch Plate

Sup all.

I'm looking to find a switch panel that can go over the cd storage area under the cd deck that will fit my 5g. I've looked around and haven't found much. I want something with 3 or 4 switches, preferably subtle ones.

Would I be better off making my own?

Re: CD Panel Switch Plate

Probably. I know summit has cheap switch boards and ****, I'm almost positive they have 4-switch boards. You can check them out, or make your own. You'd probably have better fitment and a better look with a custom one though.

Re: CD Panel Switch Plate

Use red toggle switches. They'll match your car, plus, they always freak people out or make them ask questions. Everytime someone new gets in my car, that ask what the red switch does, I tell them it's NAWZ yo, but in reality, it's my sub cutoff lol.

Lol. Mine is for NAWZ. I wanna have 3 or 4:
1 - Arm nos
2 - Bottle Heater
3 - Remote Bottle Opener
4 - Purge

I like the ones with the cover, but they're so gawdy. I wish there was a subtle version of that. Maybe just some simple switches.

Re: CD Panel Switch Plate

You could probably buy a carbon fiber plate off ebay and cut it to fit. Of course how it will mount is up to you. I don't think it would be difficult. Are you putting in toggles or rockers?

Re: CD Panel Switch Plate

those are the ones i'll be using. Oceanborn will be fabbing me a plate to fit in that spot with three of those switches + a button to purge. We're planning on doing a powdercoated semi-gloss black plate to mount everything on.

Gonna be awesome I think. Subtle but noticable. Very clean looking IMO.
