Weird Coolant leak

It's not like one I've seen before. I drove from here to Nashville and back Sunday and nothing. I drove 2 miles to the grocery store and back and there's a ring of coolant on top of my radiator. It does it randomly. Never looses much or over heats. Coolant tank is still where it should be. I think I'm just gonna replace the radiator. Anyone ever seen this before?

Re: Weird Coolant leak

On the top where the metal curves up and makes a big oval around the whole thing. The part where it meets the hose and the cap are both dry

Re: Weird Coolant leak

I'll get one tomorrow. And, while we're talking about radiators, what does it matter S vs Si vs VTEC? The core is slightly different sized, but as long as it bolts in who cares? I can get a new off brand S radiator for $38 shipped, but Si is $80+?

sleeping92lude is on a distinguished road
Re: Weird Coolant leak

Noticed the same thing with my 92,I kept thinking it was the seam on the radiator but it was the hose to the bottle.
Where it has the cheap ring type hose clamp holding it to the rad.
I went ahead and replaced the hose clamp the cap too just to be sure.
No leak since/so far.
