Anyone have any knowledge about compressors?

I'm looking at getting one for my garage.

I really wanted to get one with about a 20gallon tank that can be moved around if need be.

My main uses will be a nailer for building ****, an impact gun, and other automotive tools.

But my new use or what I've been really considering and toying with the idea of, is painting my car myself.

To do this, I know I'll need a pretty high SCFM rating, 10+, and a rather large tank.

From my research i'm gathering that I can get away with as small as a 30 gallon tank, but the 10++ scfm is my major issue.

The machine is going in my garage, but I have an older home with a flat roof (no crawl space) and beacuse of that, I can't really have any electrical work done without going into some walls.

That being said, compressors above 120volt isn't gonna work for me.

Does anyone know if a 120volt 10+cfm compressor even exists? Or is it not possible to build up that kinda power on just 120volts?

Anyone thats got any tips or ideas or even places to continue research online would be great.

So far I've only looked at harborfreight, sears, lowes, and home depot.

Thanks in advance!
