Opinions Needed--Exhaust Cat-back Question

I recently bought and recieved a magnaflow square dual tip with a 2.25 inlet. Its just the muffler and its vicious looking. My question or questions is this, Should I just buy a cheap stanless steal catback off ebay that is the same size, scrap the fart can that comes on it and hook it up to the magnaflow, or should i take it to a shop and have it done? I have access to a welder, i am ok with it. with buying the ebay welder i believe that i could cut the tubing from the muffler that connects to the cat and reuse it on the magnaflow also...Any responses are welcome thanks guys!!:juggle:
