prelude won't start

so my preludes been acting kinda funny lately. It'll turn over but won't start. I replaced the spark plug wires changed the fuel filter and the valve cover gasket and spark plug seals. I know this, its getting fuel. Its getting spark, i don't know how good it is but it is making a spark. And i did a compression test on it and it came up as 130,160,170,110 from left to right as you're looking at it. I know the numbers are fairly low but the lude has 145,000 miles on it and even 110 should be more then enough compression to get it started. So i'm stuck i got gas spark compression and air and she just keeps turning over. Oh and the battery is good incase someone suggests that. If anyone has a suggestion i'd love to hear it. thanks

Your starter? Does the gear catch the flywheel and turn the engine over? Or does it just spin and not catch?
----
Go to your car, turn the key all the way to the point before it turns the engine over. Look at your engine light, when it goes off do you hear a little click noise around the dash when the engine light goes out? If not, it's your main fuel relay.

Re: prelude won't start

i disconnected the fuel line going to the engine and it's definately getting fuel so i know thats not the problem. it's done this once before and all i did was replace the spark plugs and it started fine and this time i replaced the plugs and it worked for 2 days and now i'm back where i started. I'm sure if i replace them again i can get it to start but changing plugs every few days is rediculous and well not all that cheap either.

Re: prelude won't start

what about the ignition coil does anyone know if it's bad maybe it could put out enough spark to make it look like its good but not enough to actually start the car. I read on some other forums they usually go around 150,000. as for a wire to the ecu it doesn't make sense to me how it could work one day but not the other, it just seems like something was going bad not got fried or disconnected but i'll check on it can't hurt to look

Re: prelude won't start

ok so i got a new problem... it only starts with new spark plugs. I've gone through 3 sets in 6 days so does anyone know something that would make them foul out in a couple of hours?

Only thing I can possibly see fouling out spark plugs like that would be running entirely to rich or getting to much fuel.
