Re: INNOVATIVE WAYS TO JACK YOUR CAR UP--
put a couple 2x4's on the jack itself where you jack it up at.

|
||||
Re: INNOVATIVE WAYS TO JACK YOUR CAR UP--
obviously you mean the contact point on the car itself and not the floor and put the jack on top of the boards right?

Re: INNOVATIVE WAYS TO JACK YOUR CAR UP--
yes. you put the wood blocks on top of the jack and then put the wood against the place where you are jacking the car up.

Re: INNOVATIVE WAYS TO JACK YOUR CAR UP--
Unless the floor is sitting ON TOP of the jack which is pretty much impossible then yes you put the wood on the JACK

no joke one time with my 92 si (lowered) i needed to get it up pretty high so i drove up the apron of my driveway put the jack on the curb and was able to slide my jack stand under the car.
now that was innovative!

Re: INNOVATIVE WAYS TO JACK YOUR CAR UP--
I have had to jack my car up on the curb a little to get the jack under it.....I finally discovered a racing jack and realized it is possible to get my car jacked up from the ground and yes wood blocks are the key!

Re: INNOVATIVE WAYS TO JACK YOUR CAR UP--
I jack mine up with the factory scissor jack, then once it's high enough then I jack it with a normal trolley jack. Pain in the arse, but oh well, the car looks great so I'll live with it.

Re: INNOVATIVE WAYS TO JACK YOUR CAR UP--
that's cool! that guy in the video doesn't say much does he? lol... I am not sure I would get under a car on a ballon.. I think it might be wise to use some blocks when you get it up there.
you can used the force, just be sure not to break your concentration...

you take one perfect wonderful Lude SH, with sweet ass oem sides, one decent floor jack, 3 jack stands, and one REALLY Effin big block of wood...and then you wiggle the car a little so it shifts its 3200+ lb weigh over the edge of the wood block... all that, plus a little cussing and a few tears, and you have one Phuked up side skirt. Read this...A little DIY on Effin a lude up. http://preludezone.com/showthread.php?t=6500
