which wire behind the radio provides the signal to the power antenna to raise up?

already searched...not enough info

It is the solid blue wire off the back of the head unit. If you dont have a solid blue it is the blue/white wire. The solid blue will put the antenna up only when your head unit is in the radio source where as the blue with white will put up the antenna when the radio is turned on. Some head units dont have a radio specific output. If you are hooking up where the factory plug has been cut off the wire you are looking for is I think brown/white stripe. If you need to test it simply give it 12v and it should go up. Remove 12v and it will go down. Hope that helped.

thanks. i actually ran a wire with a switch to the blue/white and the red on the stock plug and now i can put the antenna up 'manually'. lol

you can also just run it to the cigarette lighter cuz that turns off when the car goes off so you wont need a switch

I'd rather have a switch so I can put it up and down whenever I need/want. The switch only works when the car power is on. The antenna goes down when the car is off no matter the position of the switch.
