Apexi Neo?

What do things like the Apexi NEO or a VAFC or some other complicated acronym do? Do they make a difference on an engine with just bolt ons. Also would they play any part in a turbo build? I searched a few places and could'nt erally find a straight forward answer to these questions so sorry if its buried somewhere in the forum catacombs.

They're ideal for bolt-ons. If you have an SH and want to keep ATTS, this is what you have to get to tune it.
It basically lets you adjust the air/fuel mixture and set the VTEC engagement point. It's a piggy back.

Ooo. So would this then be replaced by a tunable ECU or work in conjunction with that ****.

Something like that. But if you're going F/I then you need something a lot better than one of these piggybacks.

you can run a piggyback system like neo, OR chip a p28 (p05/06/72/pr4...) and get it tuned on the dyno
eCtune @ Blueridge Motorsports
you don't do both, and if you don't have atts, the dyno tune is better, but expensive.

^dyno tune is pretty much essential if you want to make good power with your boost.

...eCtune, neptune, chrome, hondata, are the options that come to mind... hondata may support the p13 now (for h22)... I have a p28 tuned with eCtune.

Joseph Davis at blueridge motorsports tuned mine, here are some numbers he has put down with some turbo setups.... lots of pages on that thread, beware:

pics and video of my tuning (no boost here, just bolt-ons)

Depends on your mods.
If you can't do it, it's best if you get someone to do it for you.

I don't have much mods, I have an exedy stage 2 clutch and lighter flywheel, I have a MSD Coil, I have an intake. Unfortunately here aren't people who can do it, i can do it but i don't know what are the correct values for a H22A.

Even if you have the same kind of mods as others, the values will be different for each engine. Things like wear/tear, maintenance, all affect them. The air density may be different in one part of the country from another, so that will probably affect what can and can't be done as well.

The best way and only way I would ever reccommend is a dyno tune by a reputable tuner.

Yes I know a dyno is the best way to tune it, but here in my country there arenīt any dyno's.
