Icon5 Help.. Engine light indicator..

I am Bryan aka BeaRulL and i am a newbie...

First of all I dont have a lot of knowledge about cars so...

I have my engine light indicator on and its been on for a while now. I brought to Autozone and I was told that there is something wrong witht the EGR but my friend, knowledgeable about cars, said that it's not the EGR. He said that it might be the gas cover that's causing it.

Your opinions, suggestions, inputs and concerns wil be greatly appreciated...

Peace and Love.

get us the code. When you get one pulled you should get a slip that has the code and the likely causes. Get us the code to help narrow it down.

That's for OBD I Jesse, thanks anyway.

But yeah, like what Yogi said, get the actual code and jot it down. Autozone uses Alldata OBD II scanner. It says the actually problem so either you weren't paying attention or the person scanning wasn't very clear what the problem was...

After you get the code, check out this site - http://www.obd-codes.com/
