trouble codes?? obd 1, questions

my engine light is on, i tried bringing up the codes, and i thought i was pretty successful, i think it was bringing up codes ks, and fuel supply system.I have no clue where to begin, what is KS anyways? And how do i clear the codes out? It seems to be running fine, i just did the head gasket, water pump and t-belt.I just bought the car so i dont know what was going on before i did all the work. But it was smoking for a while, and finally it's not anymore.

Yeah The Ks Is Knock Sensor, And When We Did The Head Gasket I Think We Forgot To Plug That Back In.but The Car Appered To Be Running Just Fine Even With It Not Plugged In, What Does It Do Anyways?

It detects knocking (aka: pinging or detonation) in the engine caused from bad gas or gas that has too low of an octane for your particular engine, and if not hooked up for a long period of time could FUBAR your engine.

Hopefully it's just as simple as reconnecting the sensor, and you SHOULD be good to go.

yeah the codes that i got were 23 and 43, which are knock sensor and fuel supply system, after i did the head gasket it smoked whitish for a while, then it moved on to a bluish color, i can smell like a oily smell comming out exhaust and oil deposits on rear bumper.. but its gotton alot better and is not smoking any more. The issue was their was alot of milky stuff still in the block, radiator and intake manifold and prob the exhaust manifold. So i think it just needed to be flushed and burned off.And if the knock sensor is unpluged might not be helping the situation, also their is a ticking in the top end, prob a valve, i dont know how much these h23 engines have a tick,, i know alot of honda engines do.

Honda engines love to tick. Get a valve adjustment and it should fix that.
You shoulda (or still can if you want to) done a full fluids flush and refill after doing the headgasket, just to be safe.

Are you still getting the CEL for the fuel supply??

Code 43 is sorta mystery.
Start by changing your fuel filter then move along and replace your current o2 sensor.

...the tick is how the valve train works. Honda motors "tick" until the cows come home, that's just the way they are designed.

the cars currenly at my uncles garage getting ready for paint, i have not hada chance to get their yet to check it out. But i'm gonna see if that knock sensor is pluged in.And go from their with the ecm.Hope fully it's not plugged in and that why i am getting those two codes. And why my fuel seems to be dissapering and seems like it should have more power then it does.I think it's getting to much fuel, it smells rich.
