Requesting a DIY for Shifting Gates

Alright guys I know very little about this so im going to request a DIY from someone who may have done this before. I want to take off the boot from my shifter and replace it with the exotic like chrome gates

I'd like the final product to look something like this

Hasn't been done before to my knowledge (with a lude at least), so YOU'RE teh one whose gonna hafta do the DIY

I can't imagine it being too terribly difficult tho:
Choose the material you want it made out of, measure the distance of the throws both in the X and Y direction, then cut the H-pattern with slots that are slightly larger than the diameter of the shifter. Then figure out how to mount it.

Wow, you got me thinking about my next project......

CNC machine would be the best bet, but cnced ally wouldn't look right in a lude. I've been looking at doing it for a while, but it's one of those things that's just gonna hafta wait.
