Turbo on a high mileage motor?

So I'm looking to do a turbo setup somewhere in the range of 300whp, however my 'Lude has ~250-260k KM's on the stock motor, around 160k miles. (Dont know exact number as ODO was busted for about a year) The engine runs great, still nice and powerful, no drops in the rev range, and runs nice and cool.

I've chosen manifold and intercooler setups already, and already have a full 3" exhaust to go with the mani. I still dont know what kind of turbo, BOV, or waste gate to get with 300whp as my target. So some questions I have are; Is it even wise to do this with such high mileage? How much $ is it to sleeve my block? If I go ahead with the setup, what other preparations will I have to make to have a reliable setup with this engine?

I should probably also mention that if I choose not to turbo it, I'll be looking for a lower mileage base to start modding from.

Thanks in advance! And first post woo!!
