JRSC research/questions

Ok so I've been doin a lot of research on the JRSC and it would seem that they only produce 2 blowers. M45 and an M62. Here's where I'm gettin my info JRSC Now what I'm wondering is since according to this the same blower is used for the GSR's, Civic Si's AND the preludes....Can't we bolt the GSR/Civic Blower (blower only) up to our intake manifolds? Then all we would have to do is source a pulley setup or have one made. This is my line of thinking anyways haha. Anyone else have anything to say on the topic? lol

Re: JRSC research/questions

I find it hard to believe gsr has the same blower as preludes

An even if they were the bolt up patteren would be different...

I'm afraid that your idea is easyer said then done :)
I hope you find what your looking for

Re: JRSC research/questions

If they are the same blower, that would explain the disappointing results. The blower for our cars is too small. It's reaching the end of it's efficiency at stock boost on our motors.

Re: JRSC research/questions

I heard you could glue a turbo to a supercharger, use some duct tape to connect it to a b-series intake manifold. This will give your prelude OMGZORZ crazy go fast hp at the rear wheels.

this is false, though you have a point actually the supercharger looses its efficiency after 12lb of boost unless built other wise.

Re: JRSC research/questions

You can still buy new JRSC's for the 5G here.

Used or fully custom is your only other option. Endyn will make custom blowers, but I have no idea how much they cost. If you wanted to go this route, buy a new blower from Magnuson (be sure to specify that it spins counter-clockwise) and give it to Endyn. Theoretically, you could get an M90 or it's 6th generation counterpart, once Magnuson starts making them. You'll have the sickest blower around--if you can fit it in the bay.

To my knowledge, there is no supercharger made for any other car that will bolt onto our H22s.

I picked up Geramy's used JRSC (M62) for $1900. It was a full kit and fully modified by Endyn; it was also in great shape. Use that as a bargaining chip when you're making offers on lesser JRSC's.

As a sidenote, Geramy had this JRSC up to 21psi of boost with some serious modification. He tuned it back down to the 14-17psi range because of efficiency and tuning issues. That's probably our max with the M62.

Awesome info bro, Thanx. Repped I really don't want to modify the blower as much as he did lol. But if I can relatively cheaply get the m90 or better to work then it would be sick. I will stay under 20psi tops even when my block/head is fully built. I would have just bought a setup not too long ago buyt that money went for an engagement ring instead haha.

If you're super serious, I have a pretty sweet high compression/medium boost setup planned for my Lude. By all means try it out and let me know if it works! (Towards the bottom of the page, the one that will cost me 16k).

Re: JRSC research/questions

So how much modding would I need to do to add one of those m62 or even the smallest one to my SH lude? I would only run it on 6psi for a daily driver...just want a little kick.
