cometic head gasket, arp head studs... on a stock h22. need opinions!

Hey guys i plan on boosting my stock h22 on 7-8 psi on a T3 .60 trim very soon, and was jw since its gonna be stock for now and all should i consider putting a cometic MLS head gasket and arp head studs?

obviously yes its a smart idea but i plan on building it by this time next year and would just like to be boosted for the time being to get a true feel for it for now my power goal is 270-300 whp.

i guess mainly im asking for the main power goal im expecting to see is it a valid excuse to upgrade these to parts or can they hold up fine uner this specific power goal?

Thanks guys!

you dont need to replace those just a very wise idea to get ahead of the game usually only replace these when headwork is done i would still get an aftermarket headgasket you will have more heat obviousley from the turbo. also note every time the head is pulled off the weaker the headstuds get. dont try running no more than 7-8 psi and make sure you get it tuned before driving immeadiately or you will blow your motor replace your exaust manifold gasket as well.

hey thanks for the reply dude, im going ahead and putting tyoe S cams in and then since that shows the head studs im just gonna be getting arp head studs for now and getting them and the cams put in along with the m2b4 trans (yess this sounds like a NA route) but on a t3 60 trim on 7.25 psi i believe it will feel just right in my opinion but i will have all this work done and boost will be probably mid to late summer i have other plans that are in store first and all lol thanks for the concern thoe man!

if you are going to get cams replace your springs and retainers you will get more rpms out of it plus your stock springs and retainers will never hold up new cams you will bend your valves so best prices for those would be realstreetperformance.com they will run you $382 springs+retainers free shipping
