f22a2 boosted

hi.iam from south africa.i recently got a 1993 prelude with a f22a2 engine.I want to turbo this motor but i have a few concerns!

1.does the motor need to be sleeved or braced.read somewhere the f22a2 has iron sleeves?
2.Will i be able to run on stock internals or at what boost will this allow me to run on stock internals and still maintain some reliability?

thanks

Re: f22a2 boosted

that motor has iron liners instead of the FRM cylinder wall material. to you this does not mean anything until you decide to upgrade pistons.
On boost .. Reliably and with a good tune, you can push this motor in stock form to about 220-240whp, depending on overall health .. anything over this and I say it becomes unreliable. Proper tuning is the key to a lasting motor.
