Re: to lean need direction!!!!!!!

well, like ernest said, your motor is already pretty much toast. thank you for destroying another H22
if your shoving that much more air into the cylinders, don't you think you would need to add more fuel as well?!!??! cuz if you don't, guess what..... YOU'LL RUN TOO LEAN!!!!

you just spent $2-3K on the turbo kit, but couldn't spend another $500 for a fuel pump, injectors, and to get it tuned????
do you honestly think you can just slap a turbo on a motor that was NEVER designed for a turbo, and it'll run perfectly without adjusting the AFR, timing, injectors, etc etc?????

ughhh, your screenname describes you perfectly. and no, its not a vacuum leak either.

well you failed to mention the minor detail that you bought it from a friend like that. and by neglecting to tell us that, you made yourself sound like the stereotypical ricer douchebag who thinks they can simply slap a turbo on a motor that was never designed for one without getting it tuned and thinking they'll be fine (like your friend who did the install)

the VERY first thing that you should do is STOP DRIVING THE CAR IMMEDIATELY!!!!
even tho the damage has prolly already been done (thanks to your "friend"), you can only make the situation worse by continuing to drive it, not better.

even tho i am a wiseass, did i or did i not give you your answers? thats what i thought.
next time i won't give my two cents, and we can all watch your shiit blow up.

PS... has the motor been knocking at all??

Re: to lean need direction!!!!!!!

Less exclamation points please. It seems like you are yelling when I am reading your comments, it's almost as bad as reading something in all caps. Park the car. If you need to move it around then just have it in neutral and turn the key forward but don't start it so you can at least disable the steering lock and just push it around. Get a walboro 255, bigger injectors, and an ECU from phearable.net chipped with whatever your tuner is comfortable tuning you on. The dudes at phearable will ask for a complete mod list on your car so they can put a basemap on the ecu before they send it to you, with this basemap you should at least be able to drive the car up onto a trailer and have it taken to your tuner for an actual tune.

Re: to lean need direction!!!!!!!

Istill say fried rice! But maybe its a possible that with the old clutch it kept you from driving it hard and kept you from blowing the engine up, and now that you have a new clutch you were able to get on it like you wanted resulting in FRIED RICE. But if its not knocking or smoking do not drive it, check the pump, and get a phearable.net ecu like said above, they know their sh!t. And then tune
