9psi on 450cc/11:1 CR?

Hey everyone are DSM 450cc injector sufficient to push 9psi with the JRSC? If not are there some other car's injectors I can get for cheap I really don't want to spend a few hundred bucks for RCs. I see all these threads for 9psi and 12psi, but is it not possible to go 10 or 11psi with a JRSC? Which Accord pulley is the one that gives the 9psi?
Has anyone run an 11:1 CR with the JRSC such as a JDM Type S motor? I know I'll probably need pistons in future and not sure if I want to stay stock or push it up one notch...I know this is not what superchargers like but I like low end acceleration.

i would highly recommend not using junk DSM's and go to a more modern style injector like injector dynamics. They are worth every penny. If you cant afford something like that, find some RC's or Precision.

200-300 dollars for a nice set of 550cc Precision injectors is nothing to the cost of buying another set of pistons.

And i really hope you plan on doing extensive tuning with that compression and a JRSC. Bad/no ignition timing tuning and sub par fueling will not be healthy.

oh of course tuning is main ingredient. So what are you basing DSM being junk on? I had those injectors in my all-motor/nitrous built B16A del sol with a Hondata tune and no problems.

Main question is though can 450cc even handle fuel flow for 9psi? If not then that just settles it that I have to find some affordable 550's.

dont run 11:1 on a boosted engine. 9:1 is good.

Yeah I know 9:1 is good, but this guy Method was running 10:1 and everyone raves about his car performance so I was curious if 11:1 could give good low end plus high end power and still be tunable.

Re: 9psi on 450cc/11:1 CR?

ya if it were me i would get the 550's. rather then buying the dsm's and hoping they are gonna be enough. and with that amount of compression with boost, last thing i would want to do is starve the engine for fuel and make it run lean..

i know you said you had them on your all motor b16a, but theres a big difference between this build and a that one.
for one its a larger engine, plus your adding boost into the mix.

Re: 9psi on 450cc/11:1 CR?

Well the 11:1 thing is way down the line if I ever burn out the stock pistons/rings. For now though I'm asking if 450cc is enough for 9psi on stock internals.

No I don't have a JDM, but would like to run a similar setup down the line.
