turbo question?

so i am ready to throw everything into my car now but i'm not 100% positive if I need a 3bar map or not? i will be using Neptune and I forgot to ask my tuner if I needed it before he left town.

10psi safe and 12psi pushing it. and if it go above that u'll have lot of glitch problems. if you want to use 3bar just build it and go high boost. unless, u just want to put pistons and rods and boost 15-18psi but im not too sure how f-series are.

yea thats what he told me it was called e85 . but does that sound ok to run (10lbs) on the stock f22b with approx 35k on it? I would run 8lbs daily. He said it would be safe to do, he's been tunning for years and he tunes for allot of people from other states even. I just wanted to see what you folk think? anyone experienced 10lbs on an f22b?

e85 is a flex fuel. its 85% ethanol. 15% ethanol is pushing it for our motors. make sure that your motor is set up for that much ethanol.

as far as the fuel system goes it's I'll have a 255lph walpro fuel pump, high flow fuel filter planning on getting the 750cc injectors and perhaps a high flow fuel rail. But like I said the engine is stock however the sleeve but the pistons might not handle them.?.

be careful. not sure how much boost a stock f series can take but i know that the stock h series can safely take 8 psi.

f series handles boost better then the h series so boosting isnt a prob for 10 lbs. i have the boosted f22a i am running 5 lbs though cause i dont have another car if this one blows so i am playing it real safe, but i wont say that i havent had it boosting 10 lbs ever it seems to do fine when i did. 750s are over kill maybe go to 550s i am just thinking about the duty cycle of the injectors 750s might not fire properly since the amount of fuel u will need is way below what they normally pump out. i could be wrong but when i was building my car everyone was telling me 450s and no bigger for 10 lbs

E85 will tear your motor apart at 10psi with a stock tune. It requires 1/3 more fuel than 93 octane pump gas which is why you need larger injectors. You don't need 750's, but something bigger than 450's.

I would wait until your tuner gets back (or find another one) so you don't screw anything up.

Well, what he told me is that he's hooking up a switch to go from pump gas to race gas, and I am also not going to be driving this every day its more of just a fun weekend/track car that I am learning on. I've been told he is one of the best tuners with neptune and that there is only like 10 of them in the nation.?.
