hondata s200

quick question. how much better is hondata s300 over the s200? because i already have the s200, it was with the p28 ecu i brought, so it would be silly to fork out for the s300 if the s200 is capable of my needs.
i plan to go turbo in the near future, i have most of the bits i need but i dont plan to start until i got everything. i only plan for a low boost setup for now so i will the s200 be good for that?

Re: hondata s200

There are tuners on here but they prolly haven't seen this yet. I can help you with nearly everything else with F/I but tuning is the one area that I'm hazy with. But I'm pretty sure the s200 is very capable for basic boots needs.

Re: hondata s200

it will get the job done as long as you have a Hondata dealer who can tune it. S300 is simply a much better platform.

Re: hondata s200

okay i have had both. s200 has a rom that must be pulled out of your p28 everytime you want to tune it. you would need a rom burner if you expect to tweak things yourself. PAIN IN THE A$$... honestly sell it. get the s300... so much more you can do... cheaper i think to tune and easier for you to change your own setting and preferences. rev limit, launch limit, boost control, boost by gear, nitrous control, etc list goes on. i like it much better then the s200 because i can control things... load different maps etc.
