Re: b20a5 Turbo Q

do a compression and leakdown test first of all to make sure your motor is healthy enough for boots

Re: b20a5 Turbo Q

ya you could easily build it for boost. just sleeves, forged pistons/rods. and then if your gonna go and build it, you should also do a new valve train/cams.

just a idea. if your going to build it, you could also try and find a gsr head to put on top... add in vtec! :D

I'm almost 100% that the b-series engines in the preludes are not compatible with a vtec head.

B20/21a blocks are different from the B18/20b blocks.

Re: b20a5 Turbo Q

well i got so far is just the valve cover off and thats it so far so i havent even pulled it all the way down and the engine is still in the car so i might need to get on it and i dont know what the comp test i knew that it had a hard knock in the block and a slight tick in the head so yeah and this is the first time i think it has ever been rebuild since since 89 so it has like 217,000 miles on it so yeah if you know anything about this stuff and wat parts i will need just post back to the thread

lmao and you think turbo is gonna be cheap?

if you were gonna turbo your stock engine, your looking at 3K alone. but since your rebuilding your engine, there's another 2-3K.

*bubble bursts*
