Icon1 H22A TURBO into 2400cc is dangerous?

Hi every one.
I have now a H22A TURBO engine into a CIVIC FERIO EK3, and my question is.....I want to make my engine into 2400cc engine buying H23A engine block, make it MID DARTON SLEEVE and of course, buying new pistons and rods for H23A block. But....I heard that is not that good to make 2400cc engine with TURBO because the crank is tend to hit the engine block and it will be much easier to get broke the engine.....

I would like to know if thats true? because I would like to make my H22A TURBO engine into 2400cc buying the H23A engine block and make all the modification I noted before....and I want to know if that tunning will be recomendable???

Thanks for reading

if you sleeve it to 89mm and use an h23/f22 crank you'll get 2.36l, and an f23 crank you'll get 2.41l.

you shouldn't have a problem with that cuz i've heard of some ppl running boosted 2.4 liters with no problems, it just takes alottttt of time and research

moved to FI for ya

Re: H22A TURBO into 2400cc is dangerous?

thanks for your info!!
I am looking to buy AEM cpu....I think is better than HONDATA cpu.
and I have done to my own research but I haven't arrive to the answer I would like to have.....
and I really would like to have your opinion guys...
I was thinking to buy H23A engine block, using the same H23A crank and buying MANLEY pistons to reach to 2400cc.
and my argument is that if I am using H23A engine block and using the same crank for H23A engine I don't think that the crank will hit the engine block even in the case will be in TURBO, because it doesn't mean that I will be using a different crank, & engine block to get into the 2400cc.
what you guys think about it????
