Depends on your goals.

SLEEVING your block is always better then not sleeving, it's just more reliable that way.

To answer your question though. No, it's not something you have to do but it is reccomended.

Go through and read some of this stuff >>>> TURBO STICKIE to get some more information you might need.

Well if you have a t3/t4 turbo you can push up to 8psi or if you have a gt35r 6psi. If you are wanting to hit over 270bhp you have to sleeve your block or it will be tore apart.

lol for real? never ever seen that lol Well why not stay on the safe side right? i seen it happen at 300bhp With the h22a and they both use the same sleeve. lol
