boost leak in intake manifold

I tested for boost leaks and found a big one coming out the spring actuator for the secondaries in the intake manifold. I'm thinking of getting rid of them and plugging up the holes on the side. Does opening that up help me spool faster?

probably not, but it will fix your leak.

I fixed it. Took apart the manifold, pulled out the butterfly's, and put in a bolt with Jb weld where the spring was. No more leak.

Re: boost leak in intake manifold

I will just list the important parts

built h23 (de-stroked withh22 crank, eagle rods, arias pistons, and sleeved block)
TO4E 57 trim half garret half turbonetics
rc 650 cc injectors
spearco intercooler
aem plug n play

spool up was quicker than ever but unfortunately it is all coming apart again cause my sleeved block is giving me oil pressure problems. It is mind boggling. I will do a post on the block if you have any brilliant ideas.

unfortunately
